Hitting the Target: Image by OgiMogi Okay, so if I really want to kick-start this blogging thing again (I have been blogging since April 2003 but I’ve been very sporadic) do this I need to set myself a target. My target is 100 posts in 100 days (could you tell from the title?) I might miss [...] Okay so it’s exactly a year since i posted anything on here. That’s impressive(ly bad.) In my defence it’s been a pretty busy year: Got engaged in April Those may only be 3 things but they’re 3 pretty time consuming things. and who’s hazel?? i swear Rihanna’s singing “Hazel’s got the music” Who is Hazel Mhairi thinks I’m nuts but the guys in the office agree. UPDATE: I’m not alone!!! Following on my theme of randomness, I came across this image in my temporary files and felt the need to share. I have always been a great fan of MC Hammer (who’s blogging now, by the way) and I still have a tape of one of his albums My favourite Firefox useless extension is the [...] Okay, so I may not be quite right on the scoreline but I’m not far off. In the world-famous game of Helensburgh Longball, my team (Sean, David, Toby and I) utterly squashed Mhairi’s team. I will admit that the vast majority of the score is down to the others on my team, but that doesn’t [...] My family was always about words and stories. I remember from a very early age having story tapes with songs and books to read along. The first “grown up” audiobook i remember hearing was Trial Run by one of my favourite authors, Dick Francis (maybe one of the reasons I like him so [...] It’s strange the things that stick in your memory. We used to have our holidays up in St Andrews while my parents helped out with the Scripture Union beach mission up there. I vividly remember when I was about 7 years old hearing Nik Kershaw sing “I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down [...] For hippopotamic land mass. Not sure that’s a good thing. also number 1 for: Bo’ness Church Next plan, be number 1 for “brian sargent” – am currently nowhere. I used to be top but then It ook my name off my blog. let’s see how long it takes. People who work on something for hours in a program which is likely to crash, don’t save their work and then complain about it when they lose everything. Use “File”>”Save As…”, use it often. I’ve been a big fan of Doctor Who for as long as i can remember. It’s part of my DNA as a British sci-fi fan. I was watchiung the Doctor Who Confidential episode after the most recent episode (a barnstormer by the way, where the Doctor barely appears) and they were talking [...] |
