Okay, after much procrastination, and some requests, I’ve put together a new version of my 24 Clock Screensaver. This version has sound. I haven’t put in a mechanism for getting rid of the sound, but some people wanted it quickly, so you can now download the 24 Clock Screensaver (app 1MB). If you see anythign wrong, or have suggestions, just leave a comment.
UPDATE: 30/10/09 – I finally found the file again, so I’ve just re-uploaded it.
hey, i was thinking sound would be great to put in if it was maybe the first few seconds just like when the show comes back on from commercial? maybe like 3-5 seconds? cant remember exactly how many there are but yah, that way it wont be annoying and it will just be an informer that the screensaver has come on … other than that it seems great and i also like the optoin in the first on that allows u to change the volume of the sound in screensaver mode …
great work w/ the screensaver. only thing is, i can’t hear the sweet yet annoying tick of the clock & yes, i did remember to download the one w/ sound. anyway, cheers on a job well done!
never mind! i can officially hear the irritating tick of the clock. another round of cheers on a kick ass job!

how about an option to make it display 12 hour time instead of 24 hour time. I know the show is called 24, but the show clock does say 1:00:00, not 13:00:00, etc. Plus, 12 hour time is more useful to me. A new release with this feature and the adjustable sound would be superb. Great work.
The sound is very cool.Only ting is it is very very soft.Perhaps you can allow adjustable volume.It allows users to make it louder or softer(thus can lessen annoyance or put it to minimum=mute)
Thanks for a great looking screensaver.Catches attention.With the sound it would make it really an eye-catcher.
Actually it would be nice if it auto ran the screensaver for 5 seconds at the turn of the hour. So at 09:59:55 it launched counted up to 10:00:00 and then went dormant again.
Hey there. Listen, I’d really like to help with this if possible. First of all, I work with AutoCAD everyday where I work and could create more accurate templates for the numbers. Just let me know what format they need to end up in and I’ll do the rest. For example, one thing that bothers me about this current version is how the slant of the numbers doesn’t always match. They should, and they will if I do this. I’m insanely anal and will do it right. Also, the size of the clock should be adjustable (so that it doesn’t necessarily have to fill the entire screen). And I second the motion to add an option to use the clock in 12-hour time, as that’s how the show airs in the states.

Thanks!! I also have been looking for this for ages. One suggestion is that it would be great for an option, if on the hour that you got an appropriate Jack saying. “The following takes place between x am/pm and y am/pm” I don’t know if that is possible?

Looks fantastic, sounds great. I’d use it if only it went by the 12 hour clock like the show.
Great Work without doubt! Hope jack’s hourly voice and adjustable size of numbers can be eventually kicked in, so shameful FOX wouldnt catch up on this…

Has anyone figured out how to increase the volume on the clock? More important, does anyone no where I can download a wav or similar format file of the CLOCK? It would make a great ringtone.
How come I am not able to install this screen saver in Windows XP Professional SP1 (all updates)? I get an error for insallation.
